Finding a chiropractor who works for you is a big deal. I have fibromyalgia, and this poses problems. It seems others are either too gentle or too rough. Dr. Clint has been a lifesaver. No flare-ups and much relief!

About Spinal Decompression

FSJ Chiropractic Clinic offers the latest in mechanical traction technology.

The Chattanooga Triton traction table provides gentle traction to either the neck or the lower back. It is most commonly used to treat cervical or lumbar disc injuries, including herniations, bulges, and protrusions. It has also been used successfully for lumbar stenosis and lower back spasms.

For some patients, it can be a non-invasive alternative to surgery.

This 20-minute treatment can produce negative pressure within the intervertebral discs, causing a retraction of disc material away from inflamed nerves. This may help improve circulation to support healing while also decreasing inflammation and reducing nerve pain.

Did you know that Astronauts can grow up to 2 inches taller in space due to spinal decompression—basically a natural version of traction?

Sciatica can have different causes. If symptoms are linked to disc or nerve pressure, decompression may help reduce irritation and support recovery.

Sometimes it can be a non-invasive option to try before surgery is considered. However, some cases still need medical or surgical care, and we will be honest about next steps.

No. Inversion causes indiscriminate pulling in the back and can irritate, or even worsen a back injury. Spinal decompression is targeted, specific, and applied safely and gently using state of the art technology.
